Automating tasks and functions to help free up staff resources can add significant value to business owners, whilst reducing costs.

Cloud365 operates an automation platform across our datacentre facilities and customer sites from small business to medium and corporate organisations who have streamlined tasks, reducing human intervention whilst delivering important functions for customers.

Automate Repetitive Tasks
Enhance Tasks and Functions
Create Consistent Outcomes

Use-Case: Performing daily backups and End Of Day Routines with Interaction if Required.
In this example our customer required confirmation that system sales databases were backed up and offsite copies have been made at the end of each business day.

The BOT launches a backup task on the customer's infrastructure which performs a daily backup then sends a copy of the backed up data to an offsite storage host before running End of Day routines and notifying business management staff. In the event an error occurs or any part of the backup and End of Day routines did not complete sucessfully, the BOT can notify in real-time and even prompt for corrective actions such as restarting backups or delivering a backup to an alternate host. This BOT automated backups with real-time reporting and the ability for our customer to take action in the event there is an issue.

Scripting and Automation simplifies complex tasks and makes them repeatable often without human intervention.

Our team can design, create and develop scripting tools across our automation platform that reduces customer workloads whilst producing a consistent result for customers and staff.

Examples of automation include:

  • Checking supplier systems for updates, issues and notifications
  • Performing repetitive tasks such as importing data, keying information or running reports
  • Connecting to systems and retrieving audio, video or text information for distribution
  • Monitoring, stopping and restarting applications then providing alerts and reports
  • Scheduling events and logging to ensure they took place meeting specific outcomes

Use-Case: Automation of Problem Resolution in a Broadcast Environment
This BOT performs emergency business functions in a broadcast environment, moving services to an alternate server after equipment failure.

In this example the customer instructed BOT to perform migration of services to alternate server via their mobile phone. If the staff member did not respond within a few minutes, the BOT automatically escalates by contacting the next listed staff member, repeating the process until a response is received.

If there is no response from all listed staff members, the BOT will automatically take a pre-configured corrective action such as restarting a node or migrating to an alternate node, providing complete automation of fault resolution.

Scripting and Automation can assist with problem resolution for broadcast environments where technical staff are not available and a corrective action is required to be taken.

Scripting and automation technology allows business owners to perform tasks and obtain information often without human intervention.

Customers can interact directly with our automation platform via BOTs using a mobile phone application to start and stop scripts, obtaining real-time information about business functions from anywhere at anytime.
